Online Shopping Instructions

  1. If you are shopping with us for the first time you will need to register as an R.M.M customer by clicking on the link, under the “My R.M.M” tab.
  2. Please ensure your delivery address is correct. The delivery fee is based on a flat rate of R300.00 for any orders under R2000.
  3. Once you have registered/logged in, you may then enter the online shopping experience under the “Shop Online” tab where you will be able to find a variety of hardware and building materials.
  4. Select the items you would like to purchase and remember to choose the dimensions, colours or characteristics you would require from the drop down menu once you have selected your item.
  5. Once selected, your selected product will be added to your shopping cart which can then be viewed at any time by clicking on the shopping cart icon at the top right of the screen. Once you add a product to your cart, you can click on the “View Cart” link that will display on screen to edit your order.
  6. Once you are happy with your order on the shopping cart page, scroll down to the “Cart total” section.
  7. You may then edit your cart under the view cart tab. Once you are happy with your purchase orders, please ensure you scroll down to the “Cart total” section. If your order is over R2000 no delivery fee will be charged and will be shown on your bill as a shipping discount of R300. Please note that some products are subject to a delivery fee even if your bill is over R2000 due to the nature of the products which may need to be delivered.
  8. To calculate shipping, please click on the “calculate shipping” option. Select the country, region and area code where the products need to be delivered to (Note 40Km radius between our two branches) The shipping charge will either be the R300 flat rate if your order is under R2000, Free delivery or the special delivery required on certain products.
  9. If you would like to collect your order, please ensure that you select the local pick up option at either one of our branches.
  10. Once you are happy with your total and shipping arrangements, please click on the “Proceed to checkout” button.
  11. On the checkout page, if you are a returning customer, simply click on the tab that asks if you are a returning customer, which will automatically fill in your personal and delivery address details for you.
  12. Please ensure that the Billing Details are correct as we will use this address as your default delivery address. If your billing address is not a physical address please tick the “Ship to a different address” box which will then allow you to enter a specific delivery address for your items if it is not the same as your billing details. Your postal code is used to determine the delivery costs so please ensure it is correct.
  13. If you require any special requests during your delivery, please ensure these requests are made clear in the “Order notes” box.
  14. Once completed, please read and accept the terms and conditions and then click on the “Proceed to Paygate” button. This will then redirect you to our secure online payment gateway. Fill in your credit card details or select to pay by EFT whereby your payment will then be complete. You will then receive order confirmation via email which will contain your order details and order number (please use this number as a reference). Once we receive confirmation of your payment, your order will then be processed.
  15. You will receive email notifications at each stage of your order’s progress.
